Retail Sales Assistant and Delivery Driver

Petstock Country, was created to serve our rural communities & to continue to provide world class customer service that Petstock is renowned for. We are looking for passionate people who love caring for their property and livestock as well as their pets. Our Petstock Country stores offer an additional range of locally tailored and affordable rural products, welcoming service and expert advice, enabling our customers to care for their animals and land with ease and enjoyment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional customer service where you & your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
• Through the knowledge you gain, you will inspire & educate customers on the best care & products for their pets
• Complete memorable sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals
• Checking orders before delivery to ensure that the correct products have been made, and that charges are accurate
• Pack & load orders in prep for delivery
• Completing memorable, polite, neat & efficient deliveries direct to our valued customers
• Adhering to road and traffic regulations
• Abide by relevant state and/or national road laws and requirements
• Maintaining the vehicle clean and in excellent condition
• Contribute to a fun, supportive culture instore where the team loves coming to work every day
• Strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team

We require:

• Hold a current, clean, full Australian Driver's License
• Demonstrate a high level of safety on the road and in workplace
• Physically fit, with ability to be able to lift up to 20kg
• Ability to use a smart device for Delivery Management System
• Ability to be flexible in order to meet changing work conditions
• Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
• Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail skills
• Awareness and commitment to follow Petstock Groups strategic & corporate plans, including the company values
• Ability to drive sage Work, Health & Safety practices
