Retail Driver

Retail & Asset Solutions (RAS) is seeking a Retail Minibus Driver based in Ipswich to oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from our retail customer sites. The role involves 8‑10 hour stock count shifts, unsociable hours, and on‑call travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Notifying the count team of pick‑up points and timings for each shift.
• Escalating any vehicle issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Completing a team attendance sheet, detailing which stock counters were expected on the bus, who attended, and the arrival time of the bus on site.
• Ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time and occasionally use access equipment to reach high stock.

Key Skills / Experience Required

• Capability to work unsociable hours, including early mornings or night shifts.
• Full driving license.
• ‘Can do’ attitude with the ability to work long shifts when required.
• A quick learner who adapts to evolving technology.
• Experience handling stock is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Minimum age 21 years (due to unsociable hours).
