Position Details

We are recruiting two part‑time In Store Cleaners based in Sainsbury's Ellesmere Port store on a fixed‑term basis, both with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Position 1 - 18 hours per week
  Sunday: 08:00–11:00
  Monday: 08:00–11:00
  Tuesday: 08:00–11:00
  Wednesday: 08:00–11:00
  Thursday: Day off
  Friday: 08:00–11:00
  Saturday: 08:00–11:00
• Position 2 - 18 hours per week
  Sunday: 16:00–19:00
  Monday: 15:00–18:00
  Tuesday: Day off
  Wednesday: 15:00–18:00
  Thursday: 15:00–18:00
  Friday: 15:00–18:00
  Saturday: 17:00–20:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery.
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• Clean in-store toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or even oven canopies when required.
• Work outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris when required.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but essential as on‑the‑job training will be supplied.

An eye for detail and cleanliness.

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
