Retail Bar & Hospitality Managers Bath Racecourse

About the Role

This is a casual flexible position focused on managing our bars food outlets or hospitality suites on race days and selected event dates. As a Retail Bar or Hospitality Manager you’ll take ownership of service delivery team performance and operational efficiency across your designated area.

What You’ll Do

• Lead motivate and support your team to deliver consistent high-quality service.
• Ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and professional attentive experience.
• Brief train and develop team members so they’re confident and event-ready.
• Manage staffing levels break schedules and shift planning on the day.
• Maintain stock levels assist with rotation and minimise wastage.
• Uphold excellent standards of cleanliness and compliance across Health & Safety COSHH and licensing requirements.
• Resolve customer queries or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Create a positive energetic atmosphere for both guests and staff.
• Drive sales upselling opportunities and overall business performance.
• Delegate tasks clearly to ensure smooth efficient service delivery.

• Personal Licence Holder (advantageous).
