Retail Assistant - Part Time

Hours: 12 hours across 3 days per week.

Pay: £10.10 ‑ £12.31 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. It is a permanent part‑time position with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days each week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Give fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care during deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves for customers.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy and able to shift between deliveries, till service, customer assistance, cleaning, and stock rotation.
• Reliability – the team and customers depend on you to do your best every shift.
• Flexibility with shifts – when teammates are off we may need you to cover slightly different hours; rotta is planned three weeks in advance and commitments outside work are considered.

Position: PTRA, Hours: 12, Days: 3.
