Retail Assistant - Part Time

Hours: 16 hours across 4 days per week. Pay: £10.10 - £12.31 per hour.

Location

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire.

Pay & Benefits

• Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Give a fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy – you will jump from deliveries to serving on the till, helping customers, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Be reliable – you are an important part of a small team and your colleagues and customers depend on you to do your best on each shift.
• Show flexibility with shifts – rota’s are planned three weeks in advance and commitments outside of work are always taken into consideration.
