About Us

The Bagden Group is a family run business operating two pub restaurants in the Huddersfield and Holmfirth area. We are passionate about community spirit, serving freshly cooked food at reasonable prices in a beautiful, welcoming setting and offering great bar and real ale choices. The menus change seasonally, are French inspired and we use local suppliers and produce whenever possible. Being a SME sized business, we are large enough to be able to make sure our staff are looked after, but small enough so that we are all names, not numbers. We are proud of our team and what we’re achieving together.

About The Role

As Restaurant Supervisor you will:

  • Support the Restaurant Manager with the daily running of service.
  • Lead sections of the restaurant during service, ensuring smooth coordination and guest satisfaction.
  • Help train and mentor junior team members, supporting their development and confidence.
  • Maintain restaurant presentation and ensure all tables and service areas meet our standards.
  • Assist with managing bookings on shift, table plans, and pre-service setup.
  • Be attentive to guests’ needs and resolve minor issues with warmth and professionalism.
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
  • Support with opening/closing duties and cashing up when required.
