Restaurant Receptionist/Host - Experienced (30-40 hours)

Location: Fish! Borough Market. Fish! Borough Market is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic restaurant receptionist/host to join our team. Our brasserie-style restaurant seats 110 guests inside and 45 on the terrace. We welcome around 2,500 guests weekly with a casual, friendly, yet professional and efficient service style.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in managing a busy, high-volume restaurant service.
• Strong understanding of table turnover management.
• High energy and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong administrative skills.
• Knowledge of the Opentable and SevenRooms booking system.
• Excellent communication skills and a welcoming manner.
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage online, walk-in, and phone reservations.
• Organize and oversee party reservations.
• Perform daily administrative tasks including menu updates and reservation management using Word and Excel.
• Welcome and seat guests, ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Efficiently handle requests and queries in person, by phone, or via email.
• Follow opening, closing, and daily duties procedures.
