Hotel Indigo Gloucester is set to open in 2026, offering a free‑spirited experience for our guests enriched with local culture. Nestled in the heart of the neighbourhood and built on the site of the White Priory, we embrace the concept of storytelling‑by‑design. Artefacts rescued from the site are now showcased in the Gloucester Museum, linking our hotel to this city’s multi‑layered history. As Gloucester thrives with its diverse industries and culture, Hotel Indigo will become a vibrant part of the city’s evolving narrative.

Responsibilities

As a Restaurant and Outlets Manager, your day‑to‑day will be driven by our Guests needs, however you can expect to cover the following duties and responsibilities (not all encompassing)...

  • Managing the floor on your shift, ensuring that guests are provided with a personalised service and their requirements are catered to
  • Assist with high‑level service recoveries and ensure consistent service quality
  • Assist our Operations Manager to train and develop the F&B team in the restaurant and outlets, leading by example and promoting internal progression
Qualifications

We are searching for a true service superstar, someone who thrives in providing our Guests with an excellent service throughout their stay. In addition to this, we are looking for someone who has....

  • Availability to work 40 hours across a variety of shift times, weekend and evening availability is essential
  • Experience working within a restaurant as either an Assistant Manager or Manager
  • People management skills, ideally having been involved in the training and mentoring of employees and supported in some level the recruitment of new starters
  • Hunger for success in the form of a high standard service, you will pay close attention to detail and have experience dealing with service recoveries
  • To be a confident leader who enjoys to lead by example!
  • Passion for providing luxury experiences, not shy to go above and beyond to personalise our Guests stay and provide your local wisdom to enhance their experience
  • Ability to work together in the team with guests as our centre focus!
