Overview

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead service operations during assigned shifts, ensuring the energy and flow of the floor reflect Faena’s unique cultural and service ethos. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily service on the floor, supervising front-of-house staff, and ensuring seamless guest experiences throughout the restaurant. This role serves as the first point of contact for guest recovery, supports team training and development, and leads by example to uphold Faena’s hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage floor service during assigned shifts, ensuring all guest touchpoints meet or exceed expectations.
  • Monitor table status, pacing, and service timing in coordination with kitchen and bar teams.
  • Ensure team adherence to grooming and uniform standards.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to align the team on updates, specials, and service priorities.
  • Greet guests warmly and engage throughout service to ensure satisfaction and anticipate needs.
  • Manage guest complaints with discretion, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Monitor reservation flow and collaborate with hosts to optimize seating and efficiency.
  • Supervise servers, assistant servers, and hosts during service to maintain quality standards.
  • Provide on-the-floor coaching and real-time support to build confidence and consistency.
  • Identify training needs and partner with leadership on development initiatives.
  • Foster a team culture of accountability, support, and collaboration.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring readiness and completion of side work.
  • Review checklists, daily logs, and supply levels, communicating needs to leadership.
