Job description
Role Overview

Resource all operational needs of Leicestershire Police to ensure an efficient service. As Resource and Capabilities Planner you will make sure that the right people are where they need to be at the right time. You’ll maintain duty plans, be responsible for ensuring on-call staffing levels, and maintain appropriate cover levels when staff and officers are called to events and enquiries.

Responsibilities
  • Highlight any issues that may impact on resource levels
  • Make decisions to enable the most efficient resource deployment to provide appropriate cover
  • Monitor and report on sickness and restriction levels across the force
Qualifications
  • Educated to A-Level standard in English and Maths or have work experience in a business role showing ability to work to the same level
  • Experience of planning duties or shift systems
  • Able to identify inconsistences in information and problem solve to achieve results
