Overview

Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Resource Base • Grade 6 SCP 18 • 32.5 hours per week • Term time - includes 1 Trust Development Day and 1 INSET • Start Date: ASAP

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our school, working alongside a highly skilled Resource Base Team and Additional Educational Needs team. You will have previous experience working with children, young people, or adults with specific additional learning needs and ideally will already hold HLTA status or have a willingness to complete the training.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Lead Teacher in the Resource Base to ensure students are able to access the mainstream classroom curriculum.
  • Deliver support and lessons in the Resource Base or support pupils in their mainstream class.
  • Assist with school break and/or lunchtime duties as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience working with children, young people, or adults with specific additional learning needs.
  • HLTA status or willingness to complete HLTA training.
  • A satisfactory DBS check prior to commencement.
