Job description
Residential Support Administrator

Salary: Up to £25,611 per annum. Working Pattern: Full-time (37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year). Location: Sparsholt Campus (Winchester). Closing Date: 16th December 2025.

This role's duties include ordering of goods to support our residential students, supporting with check in and out of students on site, liaising with parents and providing support to our Student Experience and Residential Team. You will also help organise meetings, with keeping our records and systems up to date once learners are in residence onsite, producing correspondence and you will liaise closely with other college departments, staff, and external organisations so that we can provide an outstanding experience to our learners and provide the best support possible.

The successful applicant will need to possess:
  • strong customer focus with a “can-do” attitude
  • a good standard of education including Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above
  • good organisational skills
  • excellent communication skills.
  • competency in the use of IT systems including MS Office (Outlook/Calendar/Excel/Word)
  • The role holder will be largely self-managed responding to students and colleagues from across the College as well as visitors and external contacts on routine matters, ensuring a courteous and efficient response at all times.
  • Provide support in the organisation of meetings, events, and committees ensuring they are run efficiently with timely minutes being produced and that outcomes/decisions are passed on for action.
  • Have a flexible approach and able to adapt quickly to new tasks and activities
