A leading residential development firm based in the Hertfordshire region is seeking an experienced professional to manage planning applications and lead negotiations for various private and joint venture housing schemes. This role involves a range of responsibilities including optimising sites, conducting feasibility studies, and representing clients in planning committees. Candidates should have a proven track record in residential-led developments and experience with joint ventures or mixed-use projects.

Qualifications

• Track record in securing planning for residential-led developments.
• Experience in JVs or mixed-use developments.
• Familiarity with managing planning applications and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-apps and planning applications through the development process.
• Lead negotiations and JVs with local authorities and RPs.
• Optimise sites through S73 and S96a's.
• Conduct due diligence and feasibility studies.
• Liaise with colleagues and manage external consultants.
• Negotiate S106 agreements.
• Attend meetings for Planning Committee and similar events.
