Residential Conveyancer

Location: Eastbourne
Salary: Competitive / flexible, dependent on experience
Working pattern: Full-time preferred | Hybrid working available

Due to an increased volume of transactions, we are recruiting for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a busy and supportive Residential Conveyancing team based in Eastbourne.

This role is ideal for a confident conveyancer who is comfortable running their own caseload independently, while working as part of a collaborative and well-established team.

The Role

You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from start to finish, including:

• Acting for buyers and sellers in residential property transactions
• Handling matters from initial instruction through to registration
• Freehold and leasehold transactions
• Re-mortgages and buy-to-let matters
• Advising on SDLT, including higher rates, reliefs and exemptions
• Complying with the UK Finance Mortgage Lenders' Handbook
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with estate agents, brokers and other property professionals

About You

• An experienced Residential Conveyancer able to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
• Qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX (qualification not essential for the right level of experience)
• Enjoys direct contact with clients and third parties
• Confident working independently without reliance on case management support
• Full-time preferred
