Job summary

Qualifications

  • Full clean driving licence is essential for using Company Vehicles.

  • Flexibility and adaptability (working weekends and public holidays on a rota basis)

  • Ability and desire to encourage young people to better care for and develop themselves
  • To enable young people to learn basic living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and finances
  • To promote education and highlight educational needs and gaps

  • Understanding of the Children’s Homes Regulations and Standards
  • A good understanding of Safeguarding/Child Sexual Exploitation and current legislation surrounding this.

  • Residential Childcare Level 3 Diploma or NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (Young People). Alternatively, our client is offering the opportunity to achieve a diploma within 18 months of commencing employment.
