Job Category: Social Care - Adults

Job Description: Casual position to cover existing staff sickness and holidays. Part-time role with shift patterns across the day and night.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care and support to older people, including those living with dementia, in a residential setting.
  • Cover sickness and holidays; work up to 37 hours per week as required, across shifts: 08:00 - 15:30, 15:30 - 22:00, and nights 22:00 - 08:00.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Demonstrate the values of kindness, dignity, care and compassion in daily work.
  • Induction with the Care Certificate; paid training and opportunities to progress.
  • Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure if successful; compliance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended).
  • Complete the experience and education sections in the application to evidence how you meet the criteria. The panel may be unable to shortlist without this evidence.
  • International sponsorship: the role is not open to international sponsorship.
