We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to support works across occupied residential properties in Sutton. This role is ideal for someone with proven RLO experience who is confident engaging with residents, managing expectations, and acting as the key link between site teams and customers.

The Role

As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for managing all resident communications before, during, and after works. You will ensure residents are fully informed, supported, and satisfied while helping site teams deliver works efficiently and with minimal disruption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for residents across live sites
  • Carry out pre-works visits, resident briefings, and post-completion follow-ups
  • Communicate programmes of works, access requirements, and timelines clearly
  • Manage resident queries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Liaise closely with site managers, supervisors, and project teams
  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and access arrangements
  • Support vulnerable residents and ensure appropriate adjustments are in place
  • Monitor resident satisfaction and elevate issues where required
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with customer care standards and contractual requirements
Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a Resident Liaison Officer
  • Experience within social housing, planned works, or refurbishment environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Confident using IT systems for logging communications and reporting
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • Ability to travel across sites in the Sutton area
