The SHO in Obstetrics & Gynaecology provides junior doctor level clinical care across obstetric and gynaecological services under the supervision of Senior Registrars and Consultants. This is a training post (or equivalent trust-grade post) and forms part of the department’s on-call rota, contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality care for women attending maternity, antenatal, postnatal and gynaecology services.
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical notes and ensure discharge summaries are completed when required.
