This is an exceptional opportunity for a Research Scientist (graduate to mid-level) with a cutting-edge green energy company. The role is mainly onsite in Aylesbury due to the hands-on nature of laboratory experiments. The company offers flexibility for remote work when practical.
As a Research Scientist, you will collaborate closely with the science team on innovative research projects focused on Aluminium Hydroxide from clean Hydrogen production. Existing projects involve partnerships with industry leaders and advanced technologies in this field.
Previous experience with Aluminium Hydroxide is advantageous, especially if related to Green Hydrogen or Filtration. A PhD or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or Environmental Science is required. Experience in the Energy or Chemical sectors is preferred, with Chemical Engineering or Material Science experience being a bonus.
Strong knowledge of theoretical chemistry and proficiency with modern laboratory techniques and equipment (X-ray, spectroscopy, mechanical, electrical properties) are essential. Occasional travel to other UK sites or rare overseas conferences may be required.
