Job summary

A growing insights consultancy is looking for an Interim Research Director to lead research effectiveness and operational excellence during an 8-month contract. You will standardize research methods, improve workflows, and coach a high-performing team. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years in market research, expertise in segmentation and operational design, and be collaborative and proactive. This remote role is flexible and may require 4 days a week commitment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Improve workflows from quant setup to delivery
  • Coach researchers across all levels and help embed best practice
  • Provide expert oversight on complex segmentations and tracking projects
  • Act as escalation support for senior leads without being in the day-to-day
About you
  • 10+ years in market research with mixed methods experience
  • Skilled in segmentation, brand tracking and operational design
  • Calm, confident, collaborative and not afraid to roll your sleeves up
