Overview

We are seeking an organised and proactive Repairs Planner to join our team. You will play a key role in coordinating property repairs, ensuring efficient scheduling, clear communication, and high levels of customer satisfaction. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has strong administrative and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
1. Scheduling and Coordinating Repairs
  • Allocate repair jobs to the appropriate technicians or contractors.
  • Create daily and weekly schedules to maximise workforce efficiency.
  • Assess and prioritise urgent or emergency repairs.
2. Communicating with Tenants, Customers, and Staff
  • Book appointments and provide accurate time windows.
  • Update customers promptly regarding delays or changes.
  • Gather essential job details to ensure technicians are fully prepared.
3. Preparing Work Orders
  • Ensure all work orders contain the correct information.
  • Upload job notes, photos, and relevant instructions into the system.
4. Monitoring Job Progress
  • Track repairs from initial request through to completion.
  • Resolve scheduling issues, missed appointments, or additional works.
  • Ensure all jobs are completed within agreed service levels (SLAs).
5. Using IT Systems
  • Use scheduling platforms, CRM systems, or mobile workforce tools.
  • Update job statuses, record information, and maintain accurate data.
