A prestigious law firm in Glasgow is seeking a Scottish qualified Commercial Property Solicitor to join their Clean Energy & Projects team. The role involves managing complex property transactions related to infrastructure projects in renewable energy. Candidates should have strong expertise in commercial property law and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. With commitments to career development and manageable workloads, this opportunity offers a chance to be part of impactful projects in a fast-growing sector.
If you’re a Scottish qualified Commercial Property Solicitor and you’re interested in how your skills could translate into the clean energy sector, this could be a genuinely exciting next move. A highly regarded international firm, known for its forward-thinking approach and strong investment in innovation, is expanding its Clean Energy & Projects capability in Glasgow.
This team sits right at the centre of the energy transition, advising UK and international clients on the real estate workstream behind major infrastructure projects. You’ll support developments across onshore wind, solar, hydro, battery storage and EV charging networks—projects with real scale, real complexity, and real-world impact.
The role offers a broad mix of commercial property work: acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, asset management, and portfolio support. The pipeline is particularly strong in solar and battery storage, so you can expect to get stuck into transactions that are technically interesting, fast-moving, and significant in size.
With the team continuing to grow, there’s scope at multiple levels. Whether you’re looking to specialise further after a few years PQE, or you’re more experienced and keen to bring established expertise into a sector that’s accelerating, there’s room to shape the role around your strengths and ambitions. What really stands out is the culture—high standards and excellent work, but also collaborative, supportive and refreshingly approachable.
They’ve also made a clear commitment over the last few years to keeping caseloads manageable and sustainable, from NQ right through to Partner level.
