Job summary

A regional healthcare provider in Dorchester is seeking a Transplant Nursing Associate to assist registered nurses in delivering high-quality patient-centered care. This role enables the successful candidate to help ensure education and timely referrals for transplant. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of experience in renal with haemodialysis skills and hold an NVQ level 3 qualification. Salary ranges from £27,485 to £30,162 per annum pro rata.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate skills in teaching and education of junior staff or patients.
• Basic keyboard and IT skills.
• Experience working within a renal setting.

Responsibilities

• Obtain requested specimens and order routine bloods/investigations as directed.
• Act as a link between patients, nurses and MDT members.
• Triage patient concerns and elevate accordingly.

Skills

Full understanding of the role and its limitations

Minimum one year experience in renal with haemodialysis skills

Effective verbal and written skills

Experience and competency in cannulation and venepuncture

Education

NVQ level 3
