Job summary

A specialist business group in the UK is seeking a SHEQ Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential for permanency. The successful candidate will support safety performance across various projects, conducting audits and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Essential qualifications include a NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate and at least 2 years’ experience in a SHEQ or H&S role. This role allows for remote work with regular travel across the UK, focusing on London and the South.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar SHEQ or H&S Advisor role.
• Awareness of the fire and security sector, including relevant accreditations.
• Familiarity with environmental legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular safety inspections and audits across customer sites UK-wide.
• Driving a proactive health, safety, environmental, and quality culture.
• Collaborating with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and Subcontractors.
• Leading toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Investigating incidents and near-misses.

NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate

Full UK driving licence
