Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Health and Safety Advisor or Manager is preferred, ideally within a construction or house-building environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support, train, and monitor construction sites and offices for health and safety compliance.
  • Provide expert advice on health, safety and welfare matters.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Liaise with enforcement authorities to promote a safe working environment.

Skills

Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
IT literate with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Good planning and organizational abilities
Strong inter-departmental communication and collaboration

Education

NVQ 5 Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent
Membership of IOSH or working towards it
Full UK driving license
