Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the Ventilation / HVAC Industry as a mechanical or HVAC Estimator.
• Proficiency with Office 365 products.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete material and labour take-offs for ductwork and associated equipment.
• Develop cost build-ups, including preliminaries and subcontractor elements.
• Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers.
• Identify value engineering options while maintaining compliance requirements.
• Attend pre- and post-tender meetings, providing technical input.
• Liaise with design/engineering teams to resolve queries.
• Support handover to project delivery teams with cost breakdowns.
• Maintain and update unit rates and cost databases.
