Job summary

An educational organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Housing Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching to apprentices in the social housing sector. Qualifications

  • Must have an assessor qualification like TAQA or CAVA.
  • Requires a recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE or AET.
  • Strong background in the social housing sector is essential.
  • Proven ability to establish relationships with learners and employers.
  • GCSE Grade C/4 or higher in English and maths is required.
  • Able to work remotely and travel to employer sites.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and adapt high-quality teaching.
  • Manage a caseload of learners completing housing-related apprenticeships.
  • Conduct progress reviews with learners and employers.
  • Provide ongoing Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG/CIAG).

Skills

Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, CAVA)
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, AET or equivalent)
Strong occupational background in the Social Housing sector
Proven ability to build effective relationships with learners and employers
GCSE Grade C/4 in English and maths (or equivalent)
Comfortable working remotely
