Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a remote Project Manager, Engineering to coordinate design teams and manage engineering budgets. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in the electricity supply industry, with knowledge of transmission and distribution practices. Strong teamwork, analytical skills, and commercial acumen are essential. The role involves overseeing documentation, managing risks, and interfacing with planning engineers. Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the Electricity supply industry.
• Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution practices (400kV to 11 kV).
• Ability to work to tight time scales.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the design team across all disciplines.
• Liaise with project management on engineering budgets.
• Manage the programme and interface with planning engineers.
• Approve documentation based on project requirements.
• Chair design reviews and hazard reviews.
• Identify and manage additional risks across functions.
