An established UK manufacturing organisation is looking for a Business Development Manager to focus on selling outsourced electronic and mechanical manufacturing services. The role involves driving new business across the UK, engaging with OEM customers, and managing a strong sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will possess proven sales experience within the manufacturing sector, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments. The position requires a hunter mindset and ideally a degree-level education.

Qualifications

• Proven business development or technical sales experience within EMS / mechanical manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of various manufacturing techniques.
• Track record of winning new OEM manufacturing business.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition across the UK for electronic and mechanical manufacturing services.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline focused on build-to-print and box build manufacturing.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and manage opportunities to order.
