Job summary

A leading wealth management firm based in the UK is seeking an experienced Advice Quality Manager. This role is pivotal in enhancing advice quality, developing adviser capabilities, and ensuring positive customer outcomes within a regulated financial environment. Key responsibilities include reviewing advice, providing feedback, and collaborating with advisers to implement high standards. Candidates should hold a minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, with relevant supervisory experience considered essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent).
  • Experience supervising, reviewing, or developing advisers in a regulated environment.
  • Experience conducting file reviews and delivering balanced, developmental feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Review advice and client files to assess quality, suitability, and risk.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to support adviser development.
  • Identify themes, risks, and development needs across the adviser population.
  • Design and deliver training sessions with Advisers.
  • Support adviser onboarding and ongoing competence assessment.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for technical and regulatory queries.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of supervision and development processes.
  • Produce insight and management information to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with compliance, leadership, and learning teams on improvement initiatives.
