Job summary

Join a Service Where Clinical Quality Comes First

If you're an Independent Prescriber who cares about doing ADHD work properly, this is that rare role where:

  • Governance is strong
  • Caseloads are realistic
  • Templates are standardised
  • Admin time is protected
  • MDT support is genuine
  • And the organisation actually values your judgement

No volume targets. No per‑assessment chasing. No commercial pressure to cut corners.

Just safe, structured, NICE‑aligned ADHD care delivered by a service that puts patients and clinicians first.

Why This Role is Different

This role is built for nurses and pharmacists who want:

  • To work on NHS Contracted Services within a Primary Care setting
  • Remote work without isolation
  • Weekly MDT with an GP Clinical Lead and other Clinical Experts.
  • A stable, salaried post not private‑sector burnout
  • You’re paid for your expertise, not for the number of assessments you can cram in.

Realistic templates that respect your clinical brain

  • 60 to 90 min assessments
  • 30 min feedback calls
  • 30 min med initiation
  • 10 to 15 min titration reviews

Professional pride and protected thinking space

We encourage CPD, improvement work and evidence‑based practice and your voice genuinely matters.

If you want a role with purpose, pace, professional autonomy and proper governance, this is a place you will thrive.

About the Role

As an Adult ADHD Assessor & Reviewer (Prescribing Route) you will:

  • Conduct structured ADHD diagnostic assessments (history, impairment, co‑morbidity, risk).
  • Deliver compassionate feedback conversations with patients and families.
  • Initiate, titrate and review ADHD medication within local formulary and national guidance.
  • Arrange and interpret baselines and physical health monitoring.
  • Complete safe shared‑care handovers to GPs once stable.
  • Produce same‑day high‑quality letters using standardised templates.
  • Present complex cases at weekly MDT and contribute to audit, improvement and clinical learning.
  • Provide informal coaching, case discussion and professional support to peers.
