A respected building services provider in Essex is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team. You will perform maintenance tasks and ensure compliance of water systems. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in the water hygiene sector and relevant plumbing qualifications. Water Hygiene Engineer & Remedial Plumbing Operative

Essex | £30,000 – £34,000 + Overtime

A respected building services provider is looking to add an experienced water hygiene engineer to their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional seeking long‑term development within a growing, compliance‑led environment.

In this role, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and remedial plumbing works across domestic and commercial sites. As a water hygiene engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring water systems remain safe, compliant, and fully maintained, with duties including updating logbooks, conducting inspections, and delivering remedial actions such as TMV servicing, tap replacements, and dead leg removals.

Package:

  • Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 DOE + overtime
  • Hours: 42.5 per week
