We seek calm, resourceful Relief Support Workers who are highly motivated, hardworking, and eager to support older people at our Tower Hamlets services in a proactive and holistic manner. Your skills in positive communication and engagement, along with your ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for all service users, are essential. You will support individuals in maintaining mental, physical, and emotional well‑being and empower them to be happy, healthy and successful in achieving their life goals, working alongside their circle of support.
Embracing all aspects of the Relief Support Worker role, you will provide support with personal care and domestic tasks, and help individuals access work, education, and social opportunities. We value the personal skills and interests you bring to the role and to the lives of the people we support at Tower Hamlets services, whether it be in sports and outdoor pursuits, creative arts, music or cooking.
Flexibility is required, as the role involves working on a roster basis including evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins. At least twelve months previous employed care experience is essential.
As a Relief Support Worker, you will have access to our free app, allowing you to pick up shifts nationwide and providing information on the service and shifts. You will be paid on a weekly basis.
