Responsibilities
  • Leading the safe and effective running of the pharmacy and healthcare business while staying visible and accessible to patients and your team.
  • Taking ownership of commercial and clinical performance, with a focus on raising standards and delivering strong patient outcomes.
  • Delivering NHS, locally commissioned, and private services and embracing the use of technology to enhance the patient experience.
  • Consistently monitoring and evaluating pharmacy standards and safety to ensure patients, customers, and team members are always protected.
  • Working in partnership with the Store Manager to develop the capability, confidence, and cohesion of the healthcare team.
  • Inspiring and coaching colleagues to grow in their roles, building a team culture based on performance, development, and shared ambition.

  • Boots are seeking a patient-focused Relief Pharmacist to join our pharmacy teams across the Dorset area.
  • As a Relief Pharmacist, you will gain confidence quickly, experience different stores and challenges, receive flexible work patterns, and learn best practices to share with other stores.
  • You will be stationed across 2-3 stores maximum with a rota presented at least 6 weeks in advance.
  • This role offers a strong base salary plus a substantial, performance-based annual bonus, with benefits including retirement savings, staff discounts, and more.
