McCarthy Stone are looking for a professional Relief Duty Manager to join their team at their prestigious development, Monument Place in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

This is not traditional care, this is better!

Base Salary: £11.44 per hour day rate and £14.02 sleeping night rate per hour plus additional pay (see below)

Hours: To be discussed with the Manager (includes day and night shifts)

Our day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 and 09:30.

Our night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00.

Relief Duty Managers sleep between 23:00 and 07:00, providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.

About you:

  • You will be warm, friendly, organized, and self-motivated, with experience in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
  • You will want to work in the Health and Social Care sector, ideally holding a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification, though relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
  • You will be responsible for managing the security of the development, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of homeowners, and overseeing Care and Support teams.
  • You will coordinate activities that foster community spirit within the development.
  • You are driven to develop your skills, lead by example, and think proactively.
  • You aim to make a positive difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
