A quality care recruitment agency is seeking experienced Support Workers in Shirebrook. You will support service users with daily living tasks and provide emotional support. Ideal candidates will have at least 12 months of relevant experience and a DBS check. Competitive pay rates start at £12.21 per hour, increasing after 12 weeks.

Overview

QS Care are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to work within a lovely care setting based in the Shirebrook area. You will work as part of a team, supporting service users with their everyday needs, whether it be helping them get dressed or washed, taking them out for the day doing activities, or just sitting with them and providing emotional support. If you want to make a change to people’s lives on a daily basis and love the rewarding feeling that comes with this, then this is definitely the role for you. This is an ongoing position.

Responsibilities
  • Support service users with daily living tasks (getting dressed, personal care, etc.)
  • Engage in activities and accompany service users on outings
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Work as part of an agency team with flexible shifts
Requirements
  • Have 12 months experience within a UK Care Home Setting
  • Able to provide references covering the last 2 years of work
  • Have an in-date enhanced DBS check dated within the last 6 months, ideally on the update service

Hours and Pay

Daytime hours: 07:00 to 14:15 or 14:00 to 22:00. Rate of pay is £12.21 rising to £13.33 per hour after 12 weeks. An unsociable hour rate between 19:00 and 07:00 is £16.24 per hour.
