  • Deliver oral and written presentations to clients and prospects.
  • Secure renewal and expanded business from existing clients.
  • Design and implement insurance program that meets clients' risk management requirements.
Job description
  • Planning, organizing, supervising, and controlling client servicing and marketing activities. Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations imposed by statute, the regulatory authorities, and the insurance/reinsurance broking industry.
  • Identify clients/prospects` insurance and risk management requirements and potential for value-added services.
  • Ensure that all deadlines and milestones as stated in the company manuals are strictly adhered to at all times.
  • Deliver oral and written presentations to clients and prospects.
  • Secure renewal and expanded business from existing clients.
  • Design and implement insurance program that meets with the client`s risk management requirements.
  • Respond to clients and prospects` enquiries inquiries by mail, telephone, and personal visits.
  • Building rapport with clients through networking and regular contacts.
  • Maintain and develop customer and prospect database.
  • Networking with insurance and reinsurance companies to build better rapport.
  • Negotiation with insurance and reinsurance companies to procure best coverage terms.
  • Review of tender documents/quotations.
  • Monitor collection of premium.
  • Review renewal or other reports required by clients prior to issuance.
  • Monitor issuance of policy documents by insurers and policy checking by Operations team for completeness and accuracy.
  • Advise clients on important changes in the insurance market.
  • Keep accurate and complete records.
  • Attend to risk surveys.
  • Monitor clients` claims such that they are handled expeditiously and the amounts offered for payment are based on policy terms and conditions.
  • Attend claims meetings with insurers, loss adjusters, surveyors, lawyers or other parties when required.
  • Attend training to further develop relevant knowledge and skills.
