Overview

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Location: Hammersmith and Hounslow

About the role: In Hammersmith and Hounslow, our test centres along with our nationwide centres support candidates sitting their English language tests through Trinity College London. We need a professional, customer-focused individual with impeccable communication skills to provide vital support and a positive experience for candidates.

As a Registrar, you will ensure candidates are registered by following the SELT ID policy and procedure and perform administrative functions on a day-to-day basis. You will promote a secure and safe exam environment and ensure full compliance with Trinity’s examination policies to maintain the security and integrity of our exams. There will be times when you will be required to oversee the smooth running of the centre.

This role is 40 hours per week, worked over five days between Monday and Sunday. Office operating hours are 8.15am – 6.30pm and weekend availability is required. Shift patterns will be determined by rota.

Responsibilities
  • Register candidates in accordance with SELT ID policy and procedures and perform administrative tasks daily.
  • Promote and maintain a secure and safe exam environment while ensuring compliance with Trinity’s examination policies.
  • Support the smooth running of the centre and, when required, step up to oversee centre operations.

  • Good level of education and strong communication skills across all levels.
  • Professional image at all times, including in testing situations.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Team player capable of engaging with colleagues, examiners and candidates.
