Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team on a part-time, fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This varied role offers the opportunity to work across all areas of the clinic, including theatre, wards, and nurse clinics.

The role is for 30 hours per week, with flexibility around shift patterns. Once agreed, shifts will be set to provide consistency and work-life balance.

Our exceptional practice

Kingswood Vets is a well-established local practice in Woking, moved to a new purpose-built hospital premises in 2018. We have 4 consult rooms, 2 theatres, dental and imaging rooms, separate dog and cat wards. Our high-end equipment includes multiparameter monitors, digital dental radiography, hot air warming devices, syringe drivers, and more. We serve well-insured clients seeking gold standards, as well as RSPCA and other charity work.

Woking offers a great work-life balance with leisure activities such as golf, National Trust sites, RHS Garden Wisley, scenic walks in the Surrey Hills, theaters, and galleries. Excellent transport links include 30-minute trains to London Waterloo, proximity to M3, M25, Heathrow, and Gatwick airports, and beaches within an hour's drive.

Our supportive team includes Veterinary Surgeons, 5 RVNs, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses, and a dedicated support staff. We have specialists in surgery, dentistry, imaging, ophthalmology, and visiting experts in cardiology and orthopaedics.
