Nurses here are encouraged to work to their full potential, leading on patient care, running nurse consults, and actively contributing to clinical decision‑making.

The practice is well-equipped with digital x‑ray, ultrasound, dental facilities, and an in‑house laboratory. This is a full‑time position for a dedicated and proactive RVN who enjoys delivering exceptional patient and client care, working as part of a supportive team, and contributing to the continued success of the practice. A minimum of 2 years qualified RVN experience is an advantage.

Role Accountabilities

• Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients
• Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity
• Carry out nurse‑led appointments and schedule 3 activities
• Deliver patient monitoring and care
• Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team
• Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care
• Dispense and check medication
• Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
• Hold briefings to engage and co‑ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice

Your Skills and Experience

• RCSV registered Veterinary Nurse
• Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care
• Experience working effectively as part of a team
• Experience supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency
