Job description
Overview

Registered Veterinary Nurse, Anglesey - 6 month FTC

Here at Bennett-Williams Vets we have a fantastic opportunity for an RVN to join us on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. We opened our doors to clients and their patients in 2009, since then we have grown to become a thriving Small animal veterinary practice. We are extremely proud of the reputation that we have built over the past 16 years, and we want you to be part of our next chapter.

We are looking for an experienced, friendly, compassionate, and enthusiastic individual, with excellent communication skills. You will be proactive with a good sense of humour and have a forward-thinking approach, as well as the ability to prioritise your work load and engage within a team. Clinical coach experience would be desirable. CPD is encouraged and funded, salary dependent on experience, with a generous holiday allowance.

We provide a supportive environment for our nurses, encourage our nurses to be hands on and to provide excellent nursing care and run their own clinics. We believe that if we take care of our team they will naturally take care of the animals, clients and our business.

This position is being offered on a FTC basis 5 days a week with 1 in 4 share in the Saturday morning rota.

This role consists of up to 40 hours per week and ideally over 4/5 days but part time hours can be discussed.

In return for your hard work we will offer you a competitive salary along with:

  • 5 weeks holiday a year + Bank Holidays with the option to buy/sell a further 2 weeks (pro-rata)
  • Share of the profits with our ShareSave scheme.
  • Pension
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Industry leading maternity/paternity pay.
  • Heavily discounted pet treatments and products.
  • Retail discounts, access to Perkbox , subsidised gym membership, cycle to work incentives and more!

CVS is committed to being a fully inclusive place to work where all our colleagues are encouraged and supported to be themselves, where difference is celebrated and where everyone feels able to deliver their best. We are also determined to build a workforce that is more representative of our diverse communities and the people we provide our services to.
