Overview

Companion Care Vets Fareham Collingwood is a forward thinking practice. We are a Silver Cat Friendly Practice accredited with the ISFM. We are looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse or 3rd Year Student to join our team. The role involves up to 40 hours per week, with one in four weekends on our rota. Holiday is calculated as 5.6 x average weekly hours, and you also receive your birthday off as an extra day. We regularly partake in outside team activities and team building days. We are a 100% small animal practice, recently refurbished, with excellent facilities including a multi-parameter monitor, high-spec ultrasound, ECG, K-Laser, in-house Idexx laboratory machines, digital X-ray (including dental), endoscope, tonometer, blood pressure monitor, infusion pumps, capnography and a fully equipped operating theatre. There are dedicated dog, cat and isolation wards and a full range of nurse-led clinics daily.

Responsibilities

Work as a valued member of the nursing team with a focus on delivering high standards of patient care. Contribute to nurse-led clinics, assist with diagnostics and treatment, and support veterinary surgeons. Provide compassionate client and patient care within a dynamic team environment.

Person Specification / Qualifications
  • You will be passionate about veterinary nursing and delivering the highest standard of patient care. Friendly and down-to-earth, with a genuine commitment to animal welfare and well-being. Enjoying a dynamic environment and the variety that comes with working closely with both clients and colleagues.
  • A Clinical Coach qualification or a willingness to train in this area would be ideal.
