A veterinary practice in Chesterfield is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. The role involves providing nursing care and support in a busy environment, along with opportunities for professional development. Candidates should be qualified RVNs who are proactive and eager to learn. Registered veterinary nurse position based at Chapel House Vets, reporting to the Lead RVN. Location: Chapel House Vets. Salary from £27,000 per annum. Hours: 40 hours per week. Chapel House Vets are looking for an additional RVN to join the team.
You will be joining an experienced nursing team with RVNs and PCAs to provide contextualised care for our patients. We strive for quality care, excellent client service and a thriving culture as our team.
Our main premises at Hady Hill is housed in a converted chapel with a characterful building and original features. A full renovation was completed at the start of 2020, creating a brighter, modern workspace with top of the range equipment and facilities. Our branch in Staveley opened in 2014 and provides two floors of modern and spacious facilities. Both practices have digital X-ray, digital dental X-ray, tonometer, video otoscope, rigid endoscopy, capnographs, doppler, multiparameter patient monitoring devices and ultrasound.
We are RCVS Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) accredited to GP level at both sites and ISFM Silver Cat Friendly Clinic status. Our Hady site also holds Dogs Trust Dog Friendly Clinic status. We have recently attained an Investors in the Environment Bronze award and strive to reduce environmental impact through measures such as low flow anaesthesia.
We are an RCVS Approved Graduate Development Practice and an RVN training centre affiliated with Nottingham Trent University. We have a team of 14 RVNs and 11.5 vets with varied interests and experience. We operate a no-blame culture and encourage open, collaborative working and idea sharing.
