Qualifications

  • RSCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience of supporting Nurse consults, contributing to practice performance.

Job description

We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our newly opened Bushy Heath clinic.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small, friendly team in a brand-new, fully refurbished practice. You’ll be working alongside our new branch partner and long-standing branch partner Reena, with support from the wider team at our busy sister clinic in Pinner.

Our Bushy Heath clinic is well equipped and offers a varied caseload, giving you the chance to develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week with 1 in 6 weekends based at Watford 24 hour, but we’re open to discussing flexible or part-time options.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:

  • Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.

  • Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.

  • Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.

  • Deliver patient monitoring and care.

  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.

  • If relevant:Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.

  • Dispense and check medication.

  • Deliver professional excellence,complying withall regulatory, practice and operational standards.

  • Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.

Your Skills and Experience

  • RCVS registered VeterinaryNurse.

  • Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.

  • Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.

  • Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes topracticeperformance and efficiency.

  • Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
