Overview

The opportunity has arisen to join the friendly and established team on Padarn ward, rehabilitation / care of the Elderly at Ysbyty Eryri, Caernarfon. Padarn is a busy 20 bedded dynamic and fast paced rehabilitation ward passionate about delivering high quality patient care. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and English speaker are equally welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of patients and ensure patient needs are met.
  • Maintain patients nursing documentation and records.
  • Communicate and involve patients and their relatives/carer in the planning and delivery of care.
  • Assist in leading a Multidisciplinary meeting for discharge.
  • Co-ordinate the work of healthcare support workers, assistants, practitioners and students in the delivery of nursing care.
  • Participate in service development and ward Accreditation.
