Overview

Are you a Registered Nurse working in the UK and considering relocation to Bermuda where most roles include a 35-hour working week, overtime available generally, sunshine, a great quality of life, and virtually tax-free earnings? Benefits and details

Salary: $75,000 annually (approx. £55,000 per year). Benefits include:

About Our Client

Our client is committed to providing the highest quality healthcare through service excellence, education, and leadership. They are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their Operating Room Unit (OR) team in a supportive yet fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as a scrub nurse or circulating nurse during operative procedures such as Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, Trauma emergencies, Orthopaedic, Paediatric, ENT, Maternity, Gynaecological, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular and Plastics.
  • Acting as an Anaesthetic Nurse by assisting the anaesthetist during induction and throughout the anaesthetic period.
  • Monitoring and assessing patients' clinical condition and taking appropriate action to ensure safety of the surgical patient.
  • Functioning as a Charge Nurse and a team leader when required. Utilising clinical, hospital and community resources. Participating in unit Quality Improvement activities and, when required, approving research projects.
  • Functioning as a preceptor/monitor and role model for new junior staff, as well as peers.
  • Taking active responsibility for professional development by participating in continuing education programmes, keeping current with professional literature.
Qualifications
  • Experience in the role with a bachelor's degree or Diploma from an accredited institution
  • Continuous employment/experience in a current Operating Room setting.
  • Current certifications: CPR, IV, ACLS preferred.
  • Experience in physical assessment essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and clinical competencies.
  • Pre-employment substance abuse screening is mandatory for all successful candidates.
