An established group of care homes in Worksop is looking for a Registered Nurse for their 28-bed general nursing unit. The role includes leading nursing shifts, managing wound and diabetes care, and collaborating with team leaders. Job description

Position: Registered Nurse (Days)

Location: Worksop (S80)

Contract: 33 hours per week

Shifts: 8am - 8pm

Salary: £22.00 per hour (unpaid breaks)

Employer: Established group of 4-5 homes in the Midlands, run by 2 RGN operations managers

Time Recruitment are sourcing an experienced Registered Nurse for a CQC compliant, longstanding and modern care home in Worksop!

Service Overview
  • Total capacity: 93 beds
  • Current residents: 79
  • Unit 1 (Job role): 28-bed general nursing, palliative care, and residential unit
  • Unit 2: 19-bed dementia unit (Korsakoff's, non-nursing)
  • Unit 3: Dementia & stroke rehabilitation (residential, led by team leader)
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead nurse on the 28-bed nursing unit (only nurse on shift, supported by 5 carers)
  • Wound management (currently minimal)
  • Diabetes management
  • Syringe driver (McKinley)
  • Male & female catheterisation
  • PEG feeding (none currently)
  • Bloods
  • Systems: Electronic MARS, PCS system
  • Provide emergency advice across other units
  • Collaborate with team leaders/seniors in residential units (they can administer meds)
