As a preceptee nurse, you'll work 37.5 hours per week at Ballington House where you will help people with mental health conditions through their recovery pathway to lead as fulfilling and independent life as possible. No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, a good amount of routine and colleagues there to help and encourage you. Your personal development matters, after all, a better you means better care. Responsibilities

• Work as a preceptee nurse at Ballington House (a 13 bedded Mental Health rehabilitation hospital for women with complex Mental Health needs).
• Support patients through the admission to discharge pathway, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to a pathway that includes assessment, rehabilitation and community phases, adapting to patient needs.
• Provide care as part of a team including consultant psychiatrist, clinical psychologist and assistants, occupational therapist and assistants, nurses and support workers.
• Engage in development opportunities and contribute to high-quality care and evidence-based practice.
