Responsibilities

Shift details: 8:00 – 20:00

  • Undertake nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Advise families and GPs on any changes in condition, keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care decisions.
  • Effectively deploy and supervise staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the duty period and residents receive required care.
  • Provide high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years’ experience with up‑to‑date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post‑basic studies/qualifications.
  • Display good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
  • Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
